FOODBANK
Foodbank is the largest food relief organisation in Australia. Last year, they sourced the equivalent of 92 million meals, which is then distributed to their network of 2,625 charity partners, providing food relief to more than a million people each month.
Unfortunately, this isn’t enough to meet the current demand from those seeking food relief. Their Foodbank Hunger Report 2024 revealed nearly 2 million Australian households (19%) have still experienced severe food insecurity in the past 12 months. The increased demand for food relief experienced by Foodbanks in the past year is evidence of the persistent struggle of these families.
To assist Foodbank in making sure everyone, no matter their situation has access to essentials, Tip Top donated more than 2 million loaves of bread in the last 12 months to help address the food shortage that many Australians face.
